Funding from the DFG

The DFG is the central, self-governing research funding organisation in Germany. It aims to fund and promote all fields of science and the humanities. Programme Onchocercoses is funded by the German Research Fund (DFG) which enables us to teach young scientists. This is one of the major project aims and over the year, some 30 Students have already finished their thesis. There are currently 5 German and 4 Cameroonian students completing their theses on the current project.
