Epidemiological, entomological and parasitological studies in a bovine model in Cameroon

Since 1976, we have been studying the epidemiology of onchocerciasis in North-Cameroon.
That was long before ivermectin mass-treatments of the village populations in hyperendemic regions had started. For this, we collected entomological, parasitological and ophthalmological data in the Sudan-savannah area where riverblindness was highly endemic.
